With the shift in pricing of media sources, my family has opted to cancel our Netflix subscription in favor of Disney+. It was nice to have a change in content as it had felt I had watched the same shows dozens of times and it was simply getting boring. After moving to Disney+, our family has new content that has been unexplored. The whole library felt new, but still familiar. Despite having all this new content, a part of me did miss some old shows that I would leave in the background. The thought of, "Oh, I remember this!" has sentimental value. Of course, I am appreciative of the new content available to me, but it feels nice to have a nice little refresh of the old content. As I continue exploring the content of Disney+, I am excited to see the differences between the two streaming services, just like how I am excited to see the differences between the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Halo White and previous renditions like the Hyper 212 EVO V2. The Hyper 212 line has always been considered a solid budget cooler that offers adequate performance. Will the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Halo White continue this pattern, or will it expand and prove to be more than just a budget cooler? Keep reading to find out!
Today’s review unit of the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Halo White was shipped to us here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada via FedEx International Ground from their offices in Brea, California, USA. The shipping box was in decent condition with a few marks. I was not worried about any damage to the product inside. The retail box arrived in very good condition with no noticeable marks on the exterior.
Our Cooler Master Hyper 212 Halo White came packaged alongside the Cooler Master V850 Gold i multi 850W, which was reviewed by my colleague Jonathan. Taking a look at the box, the Hyper 212 Halo White shares a similar appearance to many of Cooler Master’s products as of late. The color scheme of the box is a nice purple, pink, and blue, giving it quite a different look compared to its competitors. On the front, the Cooler Master logo is placed on the bottom right with the products name on the bottom left. As with most retail boxes, the product is displayed prominently on the front, taking up the rest of the box. The back of the box displays some features of the Hyper 212 Halo White, while the side shows a list of specifications. As I have commented previously, I understand the flashy design, but I personally prefer a more simplistic aesthetic. I will say this design is quite eye catching though.

Upon opening the box, you will find the cooler itself, a single fan, required mounting supplies for Intel and AMD, and two manuals. These manuals include the user manual and the warranty information. The packaging is very simple with no extra accessories included. The packaging used cardboard and foam to keep each component separate and protected.
